Celebrate World Mental Health Day and the 150th birthday of St Nicholas Hospital on Thursday 10th October 2019 at the Jubilee Theatre, St Nicholas Hospital, 11am - 2pm 11.00: Welcome and introduction – Ken Jarrold, Chair, CBE 11.10: The play “Clear White Light”, set in St Nicholas Hospital, is on its second run at Live Theatre, from 19 September - 12 October and features the songs of the late Alan Hull of Lindisfarne – some of which were written when Alan was working as a nurse at the hospital. We’re delighted that we will have with us Ray Laidlaw and Billy Mitchell, who play and sing in “Clear White Light” and are formerly of Lindisfarne, plus play director Joe Douglas. An hour of music, reminiscence, reflection on the issues - and the story of the play.…
